Slim & Husky’s Awards PREAM Scholarships to 5 Nashville Graduates
Five graduating seniors from the Nashville area received scholarships from Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria on Wednesday, May 29 at the 2nd Annual PREAM Scholarship Banquet at the company’s headquarters at 2620 Clarksville Pike.
The scholarship is awarded to S&H employees who meet specific criteria including a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, 6 months of consecutive employment with S&H, a minimum of 30 hours worked per month, and more.
Applicants were asked to submit a 500 word essay about how Slim & Husky’s has attributed to their growth and how they plan to utilize the skills learned in their life and career.
As the top essay winner, Khrya Clark of East Nashville Magnet High School earned a $750 scholarship. She will put it towards her education at the University of Memphis this fall.
“A big part of our mission is to empower our employees to aim higher, run farther, and dream bigger,” S&H Chief Marketing Officer Clint Gray, said. “The PREAM scholarship program was set up to inspire youth to further their education.”

Kelsey Knuckles – Martin Luther King Junior Magnet High School
Alexis Patterson – East Nashville Magnet High School
Leilani Reed – East Nashville Magnet High School
